TRV Family Updates Summer 2024 (Will)
Welcome Vineyard Steward Will to the Family
To round out our impressive group of interns this summer, we are excited to introduce Will Weber! Will is from St. Louis, Missouri where he has enjoyed playing soccer from a young age. His interest in the environment brought him up to Indianapolis to study Biology at Butler University. In addition to his admirable field of study, Will has worked in the Butler herbarium, where he uploads plants into the database that is used for future research by professors and students at the university. Upon his graduation from Butler in 2025, Will plans to pursue his PhD in botany.
Will’s passions for soccer and being outside in nature inspired his other interests in hammocking, and practicing a sustainable lifestyle. The Rejoicing Vine’s deep rooted values in sustainability are what attracted Will to our team! Will loved that he was able to combine his adoration for sustainability, with his growing interest in wine as an intern at The Rejoicing Vine. Will’s mom sparked his original interest in wine, as she hosted a wine club. This wine club inspired his exploration of wine upon his 21st birthday! His exploration of wines at The Rejoicing Vine has led him to call Bubblicious his favorite!
Will is described by his friends as a laid back guy, who spreads his intelligence wherever he goes. He is also an incredibly kind human, which aligns with his continued support for Habitats for Humanity. Will supports the mission of giving every person an equal opportunity to cultivate life! We are proud of everything Will has accomplished during his time at The Rejoicing Vine and are excited to see what his bright future holds!
